No. We're not a print on demand company. If a product shows in stock, it's in our warehouse, folded and ready to ship, not waiting to be made after you order it.

That's why most orders placed before 11am ET go out the same day, and the rest usually ship the next business day.

Standard shipping (USPS Ground Advantage) takes 2 to 5 business days once your order ships. USPS Priority Mail and FedEx 2Day take 2 to 3 business days, and UPS Next Day Air arrives the next business day.

Expedited and overnight shipping can't be delivered to PO boxes.

Start with the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email. If your package is running late or the tracking hasn't moved, email us at info@hookster.com with your order number and we'll work with the carrier to sort it out.

You can return items within 30 days of receiving your order, as long as they're unworn, unwashed and still have their tags attached. Items that have been worn, washed or used can't be returned.

Return shipping is paid by the customer, and original shipping charges aren't refunded.

Email info@hookster.com with your first and last name, order number and order date, and we'll reply with return instructions. Please email us before sending anything back.

No. Sale items are final sale and can't be returned.

Once your return arrives, we'll inspect it and email you to let you know it's approved. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method automatically, and your bank or card company may take a few extra days to post it.

Orders paid for with a gift card are refunded as store credit.

Yes. Email info@hookster.com with your order number and the size you need, and we'll get it sorted. Check the size chart on the product page first to find your best fit.

Our UV shirts have a relaxed fit and run true to size. If you're between sizes, or you want a looser layer, size up.

Every product page has a size chart with exact measurements.

Men's UV shirts come in S to 2XL, and the Salt Line runs up to 3XL. Women's UV shirts come in XS to XL, and kids' UV shirts come in S, M and L.

Boardshorts come in waist sizes 30 to 40.

Our boardshorts are a 19 inch, mid-length cut. See the size chart on each pair for full measurements.

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor, the rating for how much of the sun's UV radiation gets through a fabric. UPF 50+ is the highest rating there is: the fabric blocks at least 98% of UVA and UVB rays.

Every Hookster UV shirt is rated UPF 50+.

On the skin the shirt doesn't cover, yes. A UPF 50+ shirt protects your arms, back and neck without sweating off, rubbing off or needing to be reapplied, so you only need sunscreen on your face, hands and anywhere else left uncovered.

On our Open Water and Salt Line shirts the protection is part of the fabric itself rather than a coating, so it doesn't wash out or wear off over time.

Inshore shirts are screen printed. Wash them cold and tumble dry low, and they'll keep looking and performing their best.

Our UV shirts are made for it. They're lightweight, breathable and quick-drying, built for long, hot days on the water in South Florida.

Yes. They're quick-drying and made to get wet, whether you're wading, swimming off the boat or catching spray. Our Open Water fabric is built to hold its shape when soaked, so it won't sag.

Salt Line and Open Water prints are sublimated, which means the design is dyed into the fabric instead of printed on top, so it can't crack, peel or fade.

Inshore graphics are screen printed and made to be fade-resistant. Following the care instructions keeps every graphic looking sharp.

Inshore is where Hookster started: lightweight, quick-drying shirts with four-way stretch, made in the USA.

Open Water is our performance line. Its Performance Plus fabric (100% polyester) has structured two-way stretch that holds its shape, even when wet.

Salt Line is our softest fabric yet: 90% polyester and 10% spandex at 175 GSM, with four-way stretch, built-in thumb loops, sizes up to 3XL and a print dyed into the fabric so it never cracks or fades.

All three are rated UPF 50+.

A hood covers your neck, ears and the back of your head, the spots that burn first on the water, and it folds down when you don't need it. A crew neck is a lighter, simpler option for shore days and everyday wear.

Most of our UV shirts are hooded. The Performance UV Shirts in our Inshore line are crew neck.

Our Inshore line, along with our women's and kids' UV shirts, is made in the USA. Our Open Water and Salt Line shirts are imported.

Yes. Women's UV shirts come in XS to XL with a relaxed, flattering fit, and kids' UV hoodies and shirts come in S, M and L. Both are UPF 50+ and made in the USA.

Machine wash cold with like colors and tumble dry low. Don't use bleach, and don't iron directly over printed areas.

Salt Line fabric has an odor-resistant finish that helps keep the fabric fresh between wears.
